So I visited Le Pain Quotidien at Fashion Island with my suitemate and it was the most darling place ever! The ambiance is complete with a rustic European flair that is perfect for brunch. I had a fabulous carafe of mint lemonade accompanied by an organic brioche and my friend had a lovely cup of split pea soup. Definitely visiting again…
Classics you simply can’t miss out on

Although I am generally vehemently opposed to entries that exceed a few sentences —mainly due to a lack of profoundness of my part— I’ve had quite a number of things happen to me today that made my day a great one. In summation, I’m thankful for:
1) friends that catch me in my silliest moments (see below)
2) organic lollipops from Trader Joe’s, especially when given by a friend
3) the gracious girl I interviewed for the second entry of my Her Campus “What’s in Her Bag” blog
4) funny friends that make studying at the MAC so much easier
5) clear, sunny weather like today that makes me anticipate spring
6) the cute boy at Commons that was waiting for the fresh chocolate cookies, but noticed I got impatient and left for the coffee section, and proceeded to walk over to me and hand me a plate saying, “I saved the last three cookies for you.” Ah, what heart melting moment….I guess chivalry really isn’t dead.

Imagining cucumber tea sandwiches for lunch from Tory Burch’s ELLE interview, in lieu of the lukewarm slices of pizza I’ll be having at the dining commons. Le Sigh…
This is making me so excited for the cheese tasting I’m going to. #whosaidcollegewasn’tclassy?
